The invention concerns an HF-signal amplitude limiter with a wide variety of applications. HF signals with too high a gain are reflected and absorbed in the amplitude limiter. The assembly is preferably designed as a reliable and mechanically robust unit using strip line technology. The amplitude limiter proposed is preferably for use in the input of the receiver stage of an HF receiver, in particular a radar receiver and/or the transmit/receive module of an active (radar) antenna assembly.
