<p>The present invention relates to a process and installation for controlling the methane fermentation of organic materials. Such installation is comprised essentially of a fermentor (F1), sensors (10, 11) associated to said fermentor to take physico-chemical measurements and a computer (C1) for processing said measurements by using a fermentation model, while a computer (C2) transforms the data of (C1) into data acting upon the fermentor (F1), and a device (F2-C3) for small-scale experimentation allows to adjust the characteristic parameters of the fermentation model incorporated in the computer (C1). This installation allows to maintain, with a minimum of measures, a fermentor in optimum biological conditions.</p> |
