<p>Method for taking a water sample at a predetermined depth, particularly in order to perform submarine takings in deep waters, wherein a container having at least one orifice provided with a collapsible shutter is lowered in the water, said shutter opening the orifice when the container reaches a predetermined depth, the orifice being obturated and the container pulled up. Before immersing the container (1), at least one orifice (4, 5) of the container (1) is obturated by means of a hollow elastically deformable shutter (6, 7) which is susceptible of collapsing when it is subjected to a predetermined external overpressure, the container (1) is allowed to go down in the water which causes, at a given depth, the collapse of the shutter (6, 7) and the opening of the corresponding orifice (4, 5) of the container (1). When the container (1) has reached the sampling depth, the inside (16, 17) of the shutter (6, 7) is set in pressure balance with the exterior of the container (1), thereby causing its return to the initial position and the obturation of the orifice, the container (1) being pulled up to the surface.</p> |
