<p>The apparatus and method controls relay system automatically by receiving states of equipments of a relay station through communication line. The apparatus includes a communication control unit (107,207) for detecting abnormal state of main transmission line and for switching auxiliary line when main transmission line has faults, programmable logic controllers (107,207) for decoding received data and for controlling the communication control units (107,207) according to decoded data, digital displays (109,209) for displaying detected or received data, modems (111,211) for modulating and demodulating communication signals between a control station and a relay station, and a sensor interface (213) for detecting operating state of equipments in a relay station.</p> |
