<p>A method of producing a ceramic superconductor-metal alloy composite is described. The method involves matching the green density of the ceramic and the green density of the metal and co-firing the green composite. By matching the shrinkage of the ceramic to the shrinkage of the metal, craking on sintering is alleviated and a bond is formed between the ceramic superconductor and the metal component.</p> |
