The memory module accesses every bit by common control signal for one cycle. In the case of accessing specific bits, all bits are accessed. Thus this problem causes the power consumption and the limitation of application range at input-output extension. In order to extent memory area, memory module has the function of write per bit (WPB) and lessens the mounting space of PCB (printed circuit board). In general, memory ICS include the unused pins such as NC (no connection) pins. Such unused pins accomplish the act of WPB signal terminals. Memory modules consist of decoder circuits, transfer transistors (MOS IC), write-enable (WE) signal control parts and CAS signal control parts.
