<p>This installation is of the type comprising an endless cable, support and compression pulleys, two guide pulleys and cars suspended on the cable by means of grippers (10) and suspenders offset laterally on the opposite side to the pylons. At the location of each deflection of the cable on the side of the body (10a) of the grippers (10) are provided means (11) for supporting and guiding the cable (2), which consist of a pulley (12) of axis (13), the groove (14) of which has, over an angular sector (15) at least equal to the deflection angle (16), freely rotating rollers (17) and a radial notch (19) capable of accommodating a body (10a) of a gripper (10), means being provided for wedging the pulley (12) in its angular position, in which the cable (2) is guided solely by the rollers (17), and other means being provided for releasing it and driving it in rotation when the distance (L) separating a suspender (7) of the first (17a) of these rollers (17) is equal to the length of the circle arc (22) separating this first roller (17a) from the notch (19). <IMAGE></p> |
