<p>The device is intended to be mounted on a site vehicle (30) provided with its own movement means (33, 34). It includes two axles (5, 5') provided with railway wheels (4) and arranged to run on the rails of a railway track. The axles may occupy a raised position when the vehicle runs on its own movement means and a lowered position when the vehicle is to run on the rails of a railway track.
