PURPOSE:To simply execute insertion of a blank for putting digits in order at every stage of an item, and to improve operability to an operator who inputs a sentence. CONSTITUTION:When a setting key is inputted, with regard to data inputted from the head of its line, item number data of a numeral or the alphabet, etc., is converted to undecided variable data and recognized as an item pattern, the number of digits to which first data of this item pattern is inputted is recognized, and the number of digits is stored in a RAM together with these item patterns. On the other hand, when a line feed key is inputted, whether a coincident item pattern in the item patterns stored in the RAM is contained in the data inputted to the head of the line 6r not is decided, and when it is contained, subtraction of -1 of the number of digits stored together with its item pattern is executed, and a blank of the number obtained by its subtraction is inserted into the head of its line. |
