PURPOSE: To perform covering over a wide range with high electric conductivity by spraying a needle-like material suspension of radical cation salt expressed by a specific chemical formula in an inactive solvent or a solution in an inactive solvent of a compound expressed by another specific chemical formula, an organic compound containing chlorine or the like or copper II chloride, on a base material from a nozzle on a side surface of the base material, and manufacturing a conductive layer on the base material from which a solvent is evaporated. CONSTITUTION: A needle-like material suspension of radical cation salt of formula I in an inactive solvent or a solution in an inactive solvent of a compound of formula II, an organic compound containing chlorine, bromine or iodine or copper II chloride, is sprayed on a base material from a nozzle on a side surface of the base material, and a conductive layer is manufactured on the base material from which a solvent is evaporated. In the formula, X represents S, Se or Te, and (n) represents 0.3 to 0.9, and R1 , R2 and R4 represent H or halogen or CH3 . Covering obtained in this way has excellent discharge capacity, and is suitable for manufacturing a mold of the antistatic finish by its electrostatic effect. It has high electric conductivity, and can also be used as an electrode of a display element. |
