PURPOSE:To set and execute a printing mode by a screen by executing selection of a printing mode, and executing printing by one of a first printing mode for outputting output data, and a second printing mode for storing the output data and outputting it to a printing means, in accordance with the selected printing mode. CONSTITUTION:The output controller is provided with a VRAM 3 for displaying data on a CRT 4, a means for displaying additionally a printing mode of the data on the CRT 4, a touch panel 6 for executing the selection of the displayed printing mode, a means for generating output data, based on various parameters related to data and printing, and a means for outputting the output data to a printing part 10, based on the selected printing mode. That is, the touch panel 6 executes the selection of the printing mode, and a CPU 1 executes printing control by one of a first printing mode for outputting the output data to the printing part 10, and a second printing mode for storing the output data in an external storage part 8 and outputting it to the printing part 10 from the external storage part 8, in accordance with the selected printing mode. |
