PURPOSE:To enhance the utilization efficiency of a service corner to a customer by executing a communication between a bankbook processing unit and a host device of a financial agency in accordance with each different circuit protocol. CONSTITUTION:When a customer inserts a bankbook into a bankbook insertion port, a bankbook processing unit A2 reads a financial agency code, a branch office code, and an account number from the bankbook, and also, collates data of a negative number, the number of lines, etc., and transmits its contents to a main control part 14. The main control part 14 transmits its data stored in a storage part 15 to a financial agency (A) host device 20. The financial agency (A) host device 20 executes a collation check of its data, and transmits printing data of the bankbook and updating data of a magnetic stripe to a bankbook processor 1. Subsequently, the main control part 14 receives the data and stores it in the storage part 15, and transmits the stored data to the bankbook processing unit (A) 2 in accordance with a communication control program to the bankbook processing unit A2. The bankbook processing unit A2 executes printing of the bankbook and data updating of the magnetic stripe, and returns the bankbook. |
