PURPOSE:To provide a lighting system capable of preventing deterioration of efficiency due to dust or the like and securing strength as a single unit of a light conductor, where fine pitches of a light emitting end are freely set in the case of combination with a diffusing plate so that nonuniformity of luminance at a light emitting surface can be eliminated so as to obtain uniform end emitting light, while pitches of the light emitting end are arbitrarily set in the case of absence of a diffusing plate so that light having orientation which can be freely set can be realized. CONSTITUTION:A lighting system comprises a light conductor 2A; a linear light source L arranged in parallel to a light incident side 3A of the light conductor 2A; and a reflector 5A for reflecting light penetrating the light conductor 2A. The light conductor 2A is constituted of a piece of transparent plate, where the upper surface and one side surface are finished into a flat shape while the lower surface is formed in at least two steps or more toward the other side surface so as to form light emitting sides. |
