PURPOSE: To provide a waterproof electric connector capable of obtaining the fitting directionality of a sealing member and the complete sealability. CONSTITUTION: A waterproof electric connector 10 is provided with a connector housing 14, a seal member 20, and a cap (housing) 22 to cover the seal member 20. The seal member 20 is provided with a groove between rows of terminal insertion holes 40. The cap 22 is provided with a jib 52 wider than a groove 50 at the position corresponding to the groove 50. When the seal member 20 and the cap 22 are built in the connector housing 14, the material to constitute the seal member 20 is compressed between a side wall 56 of the cap 22 and the rib 52 to obtain the complete waterproofness. |
