<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sufficient cue or review function to the digital recording and reproducing device in which speed for reading out recorded information from a recorded medium is faster than speed for converting read data to analog signals. CONSTITUTION:The buffer memory 3 is assumed a capacitance which enable temporary sound production. The buffer memory 3 is cleared during the cue or review operation, the reading position of the recorded medium 1 is skipped by the prescribed value, data of the prescribed value is read out, and after it is written to the buffer memory 3, such an operation is repeated that data of the prescribed value is read out at the position which is skipped by the prescribed value in the prescribed direction from the position at which the recorded medium 1 is finally read out, when data of the buffer memory 3 is converted to analog signals and the buffer memory 3 becomes empty.</p> |
