PURPOSE:To provide the electronic musical instrument which generates a musical tone having no disorder even when the period of a detected musical tone signal is disordered due to muting. CONSTITUTION:Plural detected periods are stored in a storage means in detection order and an envelope detecting means 5 detects the envelope of the inputted musical tone signal. A musical tone signal generating means generates a new musical tone signal according to a period which is detected earlier than the latest time of period detection by a specific time corresponding to level variation of the envelope detected. |
