PURPOSE:To increase the number of intersections to be displayed in one scan line by effectively utilizing calculating time for scan lines. CONSTITUTION:Based on the output of a geometrical calculator 2, an edge scan line intersection calculation circuit 41 calculates the positions of intersections between the respective scan lines and the perspective drawing of a visual object on a screen. At such a time, an F flag is added to the head of each scan line. Since a sort circuit 51 and a hide/appearance processing circuit 71 start respective processings according to the F flag, the respective processings can be executed asynchronously to the display timing of a display device 10. The outputs of the hide/appearance processing circuit 71 are successively stored in a FIFO memory 8 and read for each scan line according to a horizontal synchronizing signal. This output is made into a video signal by a video signal generator 9 and displayed on the display device 10. |
