PURPOSE:To report the abnormality of a timer to the user, by reporting the abnormality when the dial for setting a timer time is stopped over a prescribed time by an external force. CONSTITUTION:When an external force is applied to a dial 1 during the operation of the timer, only a gear 9 is rotated by a slip mechanism placed between the gear 9, which rotates the dial 1, and a rotary wheel 10, and the rotary wheel 10 and the rotation of the dial 1 are stopped. By the stop of the rotation of the dial 1, the rotation of a rotary plate 4 fixed to the dial is stopped. A tooth-form pattern electrode is formed circularly on the rotary plate 4, and the pattern electrode of the rotary plate 4 and a contact arm 6 are brought into contact with each other elastically by the stop of the rotation of the dial 1 still. Therefore, a counter which is set to one minute is not reset, and a report tone is generated by the output of this counter. |
