PURPOSE:To perform embossing control and power transmission simultaneously employing a self-return type solenoid as clutch when rotary motion of a motor is converted into reciprocal motion of an embossing pin utilizing rotary torque of the motor for the power source. CONSTITUTION:When embossing, a pin is pushed up to a recess of a press bar to apply a force on a paper between the two parts. The pushing up of the pin is performed by pulling a wire through a leverage. A shaft which always rotates connected to a motor with a drive belt is arranged to be so eccentric that a block carrying a self-return type solenoid reciprocates horizontally centered on the fulcrum as the shaft rotates. When the block reaches the left end, exciting the solenoid pushes down a piece at the tip thereof. When moving to the right, the block pushes a transmission pin to the right to pull the wire through the leverage, and pushes up the pin thereby permitting an embossing. |
