PURPOSE:To prevent a filter from being choked and prolong its life, by magnetizing a synthetic resin made casing itself enclosing integrally a magnetic substance in the resin or the casing made of synthetic resin and accommodating the filter medium, and adsorbing the iron oxide generated in fuel. CONSTITUTION:The body 13 of a synthetic resin made casing 12 accommodating the filter medium 11 is wholly formed by the synthetic resin of nylon or the like mixed with a magnetic substance at about 10-90% in the rate of volume, and the body 13 itself is magnetized. Then, the iron oxide ingredient of fuel flowing in from an inlet pipe 18 is magnetically adsorbed on the surface of the inner wall of the body 13, and it is removed before the fuel passaes the filter medium 11. |
