The invention relates to a device allowing reconstruction of a balanced vegetable and animal association (biocenosis) allowing cohabitation of antagonistic species without risk of mutual destruction. It consists of a compact monobloc assembly consisting of several juxtaposed water tanks (1), (7), (9) of decreasing level, communicating with each other only through overflows (6) and (8) and by a delivery duct (12) fed by a pump (10). It includes removable planting tubs, automatically watered (15), illumination by low-voltage halogen lamps, a magnifying lens bonded to one of its transparent faces and a system for heating the water using an "immersion heater". The device according to the invention is particularly intended for livening up and decorating public places and business premises. <IMAGE>
