PURPOSE:To relax the internal stress at the time of hardening the epoxy resin, and prevent the generation of crack by providing a vena contracta between an other terminal of a L-shape bushing and a pole welding part. CONSTITUTION:A bushing 4a of a sealed lead-acid battery is formed into a nearly 8-shape, which consists of two circles, and provided with an outer terminal 3 projecting upward at the one end thereof, and the other end is welded to a pole 2, which is led out from the inside of a battery jar, at a recessed part of a cover l. Next, a pot part 5 between the cover 1 and the bushing 4a is filled with the epoxy resin 6, and the battery is sealed. The generation of crack to be caused by the thermal shock and the impact is thereby prevented. |
