PURPOSE:To obtain a downsized thin optical head by employing a reflector for rotating an information signal light reflected on a recording medium and regulating an optical detector in the height direction of the optical head through rotation of the reflector thereby eliminating regulation through movement of optical detector. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam emitted from a laser light source 1 is split into three beams through a diffraction lattice 2, reflected on a half mirror 5, deflected on a rising mirror 3 in the direction to recording medium, and then focused through an objective lens 4. Information signal light reflected on the recording medium passes through the objective lens 4 thence through the half mirror 5 and deflected by 90 deg. on a rotatable reflector 6 to an optical detector 7 thus reproducing, recording or erasing information recorded on the recording medium. |
