PURPOSE: To provide a device for transferring toner image from the image forming medium to the image receiving material. CONSTITUTION: This device is constituted to transfer the toner image from the image forming medium 1 on the image receiving material through an intermediate transferring body 12. The surface of the intermediate transferring body 12 is cleaned by combination of a first cleaning member 30 and the second cleaning member 35. This first cleaning member 30 having the surface on which the toner is adhered better than corresponding to the intermediate transferring body 12, is more useful for removing a high fused impurity. The second cleaning member 35 is cooled in order to remove the low fused impurity, which is not removed by the first cleaning member 30, by the second cleaning member 35. By this combination of cleaning devices 30 and 35, the impurity is entirely removed effectively. |
