PURPOSE:To prevent an erroneous issue of ballot paper by turning on a key switch, setting all of displays of three parts of a man, a woman and a total of a display part to '0', inserting ballot paper of the man or the woman into the left-side slit, and inserting ballot paper of the woman or the man into the right-side slit. CONSTITUTION:At the time of issuing ballot paper to elector, a key switch 13 is turned and set to a position of ON 11, and also, displays of three parts of a man 6, a woman 7 and a total 8 of a display part 9 are all set to '0'. Subsequently, the ballot paper is inserted slowly into the left side slit 4 for the man or the right-side slit 5 for the woman until it reaches the bottom from the upper part, and thereafter, the ballot paper is taken out and issued to the elector. In this case, confirmation lamps 24, 25 for the man or the woman, and a confirmation lamp 23 for counting are turned on about one second, and simultaneously, an election name is announced from a loudspeaker 26. Also, a numeral 1 is displayed on the man 6 or the woman 7 of the display part 9, the total 8 is also subjected to +1, and the numbers of papers by the man and the woman, and the total of the man and the woman issued thereafter is added and displayed. |
