PURPOSE:To provide a lighting system capable of increasing transmitted light quantity of effective illumination light. CONSTITUTION:A lighting system is provided with a light conductor 2 having light incident sides Sa of a plurality of laminated light conducting plates P of various lengths, which are aligned flush with each other, and light emitting sides Sb formed in a stepped manner; a linear light source L arranged in parallel to the light emitting sides Sa of the light conductor 2; and a reflector 3 disposed along the light emitting sides. Multiple layer film coatings 4a-4g are formed on light emitting ends 2a-2f of each light conducting plate P, each constituted of the light incident side Sa and the light emitting side Sb formed in a stepped manner, of the light conductor 2. |
