PURPOSE:To smooth the insertion of commutator members into a molding jig, by providing projections on the inner surface of the molding jig to hold the commutator members and setting a slight clearance between the inner surface of the molding jig and the outer surfaces of the commutator members. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of projections 13, which extend in an axial direction to hold commutator members at equal intervals, are provided on inner surface of a cylindrical part 12 which constitutes a molding jig 1. The outer surface of each commutator member 2 is not shaped as a cylinder with a dimension R but shaped flat to set a slight clearance between the inner surface of the cylindrical part 12 and the outer surface of the top of each commutator member 2 when the commutator member is inserted in between the projections 13 on the molding jig 1. According to this constitution, the area of contact at the time of the insertion of the commutator members is reduced. This results in facilitating the insertion. |
