<p>PURPOSE:To suppress expansion/contraction of an electrolyte film by sandwiching both obverse and reverse of a solid high molecular electrolyte film by means of porous base materials, further sandwiching the outer surface of the porous materials by means of outer solid high molecular electrolyte films and embedding the electrolyte films into a base material. While making the electrolyte film to have 50vol.% or more. CONSTITUTION:A gas seal member comprises separators 1, a solid high molecular electrolyte film 2, outer solid high polymer electrolyte films 4, and porous base materials 6. In such a constitution, the film 2 is sandwiched by base materials 6, and both sides of the base materials are fastened by the separators 1 in which recessed parts 5 are formed and embedded with solid high molecular electrolyte 4. Thus both obverse and reverse of the film 2 are embedded into the base materials 6 through the films 4, so that the films may not expand due to moisture absorbent and not to contract due to dry, and adhesion of the films 4 to the separators 1 is improved so as to improve gas seal performance of the base materials 6.</p> |
