PURPOSE:To eject fixed recording sheets while aligning them in page order and to facilitate the removal of a jammed recording sheet by ejecting a fixed recording sheets while keeping its recording side downward and constituting a sheet ejecting device so as to be opened. CONSTITUTION:The sheet ejecting device 25 is provided with a turning path 44 for which a fixed recording sheet is inverted and guided towards the upper surface of the upper cover 29a of the device main body. The sheet ejecting device 25 is provided so that it can be turned around the axis crossing the turning path 44 as a center between the recording sheet ejecting position where the fixed recording sheet is guided to the upper surface of the upper cover 29a and the path opening position where the turning path 44 is opened. The fixed recording sheet is guided to the recording sheet turning path 44 of the sheet ejecting device 25 positioned in the recording sheet ejecting position and ejected onto the upper cover 29a while aligning the sheets in page order and keeping its recording side downward. When the recording sheet is jammed in the recording sheet turning path 44, the jammed sheet can be removed by turning the sheet ejecting device 25 to be positioned at the path opening position, thereby opening the recording sheet turn path 44. |
