PURPOSE:To open and close a door even if a fault of a lower rank device for control of the door or a fault of a connecting line occurs. CONSTITUTION:In the entering/leaving management system which consists of plural lower rank devices for executing control of opening/closing mechanisms of each door and entering person discriminating mechanism provided in each door, and a host device 11 for controlling the lower rank device by connecting it with a connecting line 51, and is connected to a door opening/closing mechanism 31 for executing control of a specific door 35 and a room entering person discriminating mechanism 32 through a first lower rank device 22 and a second lower rank device 32, and a switching device 41, this system is constituted so that by providing a spare connecting line 52 of the same constitution as the connecting line 51, and a spare switching detecting circuit 53 for detecting a fact that control is executed by the spare connecting line 52, a first lower rank device 22 controls the specific door 35, when control is executed by using the connecting line 51, and a second lower rank device 23 controls the specific door 35, when control is executed by using the spare connecting line 52. |
