<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a leader tape and trailer tape from being detected on the way of tape loading when the loading of a video cassette is performed in a VTR. CONSTITUTION:When the video cassette 29 is ejected under the state that the leader tape and trailer tape are being detected by photodetectors 11, 12, an FG pulse generated from a reel motor 18 or 17 is detected by an FG detector 21 after the tape unloading is finished. A rotation angle of a reel 25 or 26 is detected by counting this detected pulse with a controller 22 and expressed in terms of tape running amount to send the tape in the required amount, and after that, the cassette unloading is performed, then the leader tape and trailer tape are prevented from being detected when the same cassette is loaded at the next time.</p> |
