The present invention relates to a single-walled modular metal flue welded continuously along its longitudinal generatrix, and to the system for coupling two of its modular elements together. This flue is intended to discharge the fumes from heating generators with high thermal efficiency, condensation and, in general, combustion gases saturated with moisture. It is characterised in that, at the end of the female end-fitting (1) there is produced a turned-down edge (2) inclined at 30@ then a folded down edge (3). On the male end-fitting (5), set back from its end, is produced a first edge (6) inclined at 30@ followed by a flat part (7) and a second edge (8) inclined at 30@ then a boss (9) inclined at 15@. Joining the male and female end-fittings together compresses a seal (4) via a clamping collar (10).
