The invention relates to a borehole plug. It comprises a plug body (1) which can be fitted over the production casing (TPRO) and is formed by a rigid sleeve (10). A flexible diaphragm (2) is mounted on the outside of the sleeve and surrounds it so as to form an extensive inflatable bladder intended, after pressurisation, to come into contact with the wall TP of the borehole. A supply pipe (3) is connected to the plug body (1) and terminates in the bladder in order to provide independent supply and pressurisation of the bladder using a hydraulic fluid. Application to working of oil wells or geothermal boreholes. <IMAGE>
