PURPOSE: To reduce the occurrence of undesirable interference by making a divided duplex frequency channel communication system transmit certain basic system information, timing information, etc., as a standard idling beacon message at every frame from a primary station and a paging message at every 16 frames to a secondary station during an idling period, but not transmit the standard idling beacon message during such a long idling period as the nighttime, etc., because the message can become a source of interference. CONSTITUTION: Primary stations PS-PS4 invite in-range secondary stations SS1-SS6 which participate in transmission in a low-duty cycle link mode in which paging messages and low-duty cycle link reconfirming messages are sent at relatively long intervals for transmission in accordance with a certain condition decided by the primary stations PS1-PS4. In the low-duty cycle link mode, the secondary stations are controlled to act at desired intervals. When the ambient environment increases, however, a system is inverted into a standard idling state. |
