<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the damage of a copy sheet on which buckle for correcting staggering during the time of passing through a copying machine is formed. CONSTITUTION: A laser printer is provided with a photoreceptor belt 20 and a transfer station 4 where a toner image is transferred from the belt 20 to a copy sheet. Each copy sheet is adjusted in a nip of a matching rolls 12 on the upstream side of the transfer station, then transported to the transfer station. The copy sheet is fed to the matching rolls 12 in a standstill state by feeding rolls 13 and 14, and the feeding rolls continue to rotate, therefore the buckle which is useful for preventing from staggering is formed on the copy sheet. When the copy sheet is matched, the matching rolls 12 are rotated, the revolving speed is accelerated by 20% above the normal operational speed at the begging to reduce the buckle amount of the copy sheet, and thereafter the trailing end of the copy sheet reaches the matching rolls. The buckle is reduced, and then the revolving speed of the matching rolls is reduced to the normal operation level almost equal to the speed of the photoreceptor belt 20.</p> |
