PURPOSE:To suppress current consumption low in a stationary state by decreasing the resistance value of a variable resistor only when a power source is put to work, shortening an oscillation starting time, and increasing the resistance value after the starting of oscillation. CONSTITUTION:When variable resistors 1 and 5 input high-level signals H at resistance value input terminals 4 and 8, resistance values between resistance terminals 2 and 3, and 6 and 7 decrease, and when low-level signals L are inputted to the terminals 4 and 8, said resistance values increase. The threshould level of a voltage level deciding circuit 9 is denoted as VT9. In this case, when a high-level voltage higher than the voltage VT9 is inputted to the input terminal of the circuit 9, an output L appears at the output terminal, and when a voltage lower than the voltage V9 is applied, an output H appears at the input terminal. A signal holding circuit 10 generates an output H at an output terminal 13 when inputting a signal H at a set input terminal 12, generates an output L at the terminal 13 when inputting a signal H at a reset input terminal 11, and also continuously outputs the last signal level to the terminal 13 while inputting signals L at both the terminals 11 and 12. |
