CONVERTER DRIVING CIRCUIT FOR ELECTRONIC TIME PIECE

PURPOSE:To stabilize the action of a converter by varying the drive pulse width and the phase at the normal time in linkage with a switching circuit comprising a CMOS transistor when the amplitude and the phase thereof are above or below the preset value. CONSTITUTION:Signal generation circuits 10-12 and 20 generate a plurality of pulses of varied width. A drive pulse selection circuit 40 selectively feeds said pulse signals to drive inverters 41 and 42. A detection circuit 30 made up of a CMOS transistor detects induced voltage in a drive coil connected to one end of a drive coil 43 of a converter. First reference signal generation circuits 13-16 obtain the first reference signal phiS1 while a second reference signal generation circuit 17 obtains the second reference signal phiS2. According to the phase difference between output signals of the detection circuit 30 and the operation reference signal of the reference signal generation circuit, the drive pulse selection circuit 40 is operated.
