PURPOSE:To correct contours of upper and lower edge parts of a body picture by providing a filter part having the relatively less quantity of transmitted light to a color filter and using a frame transfer type CCD and a color mosaic filter in combination, and thus reduces the false signals. CONSTITUTION:A color solid-state image pickup element 25 formed by combining a mosaic type color filter with a CCD is supplied with electrode driving signals phi1-phi4 and DC bias voltages 37 from a clock signal generator 35 through the switching of a switch circuit 36 according to a transfer and a storage mode. While signal charges are stored by the supply of those signals phi1-phi4 and voltages 37, charges stored in two different potential wells are mixed and read out to be applied to a 1H (one horizontal scanning period) delay line 26, an adder 27, and a circuit 28. Then, trailing circuits perform signal processing and the resulting signal is applied to and processed by the processor 34 composed of a matrix and an encoder circuit, etc. The color filter of this element 25 is provided with a part for magenta transmission having the relatively less quantity of transmitted light, and reduces the false signals. |
