Bicycle power output meter with level indicator - computes output from product of total mass, gravity, speed and difference between apparent power inclination and idling inclination

The angular distance between the measured apparent power inclination (alpha + beta) and the measured apparent idling inclination (gamma O) is inserted as the factor (LN) in the output represented by the product: M.g.v.LN. The level indicator determines the apparent idling inclination (gamma O) during an idling phase, and the bicycle output meter stores the apparent idling inclination at the end of the idling inclination measurement time. The rider must select the idling phase arbitrarily. ADVANTAGE - Produces measure for travel resistance compared with only measuring e.g. acceleration needed power, so that any slope is taken account of as well as travel resistance.
