The pipe has a larger dia. at the rear than at the front. The tanker can be fitted with devices for lifting the tank at the rear and/or lowering it at the front. These devices can be connected to the suspension. When the tank is discharged, the liq. residue collects at the front when the liq. level drops below the height of the bottom of the front part. The pipe projects into this residue. When the level drops at the rear, the level in the pipe also drops and exerts a suction effect to ensure complete removal. ADVANTAGE - Simple discharge even of content residue.
