Checking data line in multiplex system using loop connection - generating control signal from transmitted loop signal and returning loop signal as stop bit of data channel

A loop signal (SS) is transmitted from a transmitter (MXS1) of a first multiplexer (A) to the receiver (MXE2) of a second multiplexer (B). The received signal (SS) is analysed and a first control signal (SS1) is generated. This prompts the transmitter (MXS2) of the second multiplexer (B) to transmit the same loop signal (SS) which is analysed and signalised in the receiver (MXE1) of the first multiplexer (A). The loop formation in the first multiplexer (A) is stopped by a second control signal (SS2) generated by a received loop signal (SS) until the loop command is cancelled and the second control signal (SS2) has disappeared. ADVANTAGE - When computer infrastructure or computer fails data line can be checked easily via loop connection without requiring extra transmission capacity.
