PURPOSE:To transmit maintenance information consisting of several languages to the maintenance center at a distant place by providing a language conversion means converting the maintenance information into the prescribed language to be sent for the maintenance objective system. CONSTITUTION:A service processor (SVP) 200 supports the control table function, maintenance diagnosis function, and control function or the like of a computer system 100 for maintenance object. A basic processing section 201 of the SVP 200 stores the maintenance information such as the system operation state and faults of a computer system 100 in an information storage section 203. A language conversion section 204 converts the maintenance information stored in the information storage section 203 into the mother tongue or official language of a person in charge of maintenance centers 300-500. The language conversion section 204 uses a processor or program performing, for example, the code information conversion for input information. A line control section 202 controls the line to transmit the maintenance information converted by the language conversion section 204 to the maintenance centers 300-500.
