PURPOSE:To detect the blockade of a flow passage, by discriminating an abnormality to display it when the output of a sensor which detects the passage of a granular material in the flow passage is not fluctuated. CONSTITUTION:The pulse signal output of the sensor which detect optically the passage of seeds in the flow passage is supplied to a pulse generating circuit D through a comparing circuit C. The pulse generating circuit D generates pulses having a prescribed waveform in accordance with the variance of the output of the sensor. An integrating circuit E is reset by the output of the pulse generating circuit D. If the flow passage is blocked and the circuit E is not reset by a reset circuit F, the output of the integration circuit E exceeds the reference value of a comparing circuit G to drive a buzzer Bz and an alarm lamp L.
