Wasserlösliches, ionisches, ternäres sulfoalkylhydroxyalkylmodifiziertes Cellulosederivat mit einem Sulfoalkyl-, insbesondere Sulfoethylsubstitutionsgrad (DS) von 0,001 bis 0,6, insbesondere 0,01 bis 0,5. Die erfindungsgemäßen sulfoalkylhydroxyalkyl-, insbesondere sulfoethylhydroxyalkylmodifizierten Cellulosederivate werden als Zusatzstoffe für gips- und zementhaltige Massen eingesetzt.
