Method for aiding navigation of a land vehicle, consisting in combining first data or navigational data, making it possible to calculate point by point the heading and navigational position of the vehicle 1 with respect to a starting position, with second data or location data picked up by radio, making it possible directly to determine the absolute position (X, Y) of the vehicle at some of these points, characterized in that the radio-location data are analyzed so as to interpolate (smooth) in real time the heading and the position of the vehicle over all the navigational points. <IMAGE>
