Polyphenylene sulphide compositions.

Compositions containing, per 100 parts by weight of polyphenylene sulphide: 10 to 300 parts by weight of a polyamide, and 20 to 350 parts by weight of a metal hydroxide whose main constituent is magnesium hydroxide. They preferably additionally contain 20 to 500 parts by weight of a fibrous reinforcing material. These compositions offer an excellent compromise of tracking current resistance, arc resistance and heat resistance.
