TIRE FABRIC FOR TOPPING SHEET AND REMOVAL OF WEFT FROM TIRE FABRIC

PURPOSE:To easily and surely remove weft in tire fabric used for a topping sheet by a simple device and installation. CONSTITUTION:A weft 3 is folded in the outsides of both side ends of tire fabric 1 and continuously held for many pieces of parallel warps. The weft 3 is cut in one place of the intermediate part in the width direction in a stage until tire fabric 1 is supplied to a calender. The warps 2a of both side end parts are separated from the main body part of tire fabric 1 after cutting thereof. Thereby the cut wefts 3 are accompanied with the warps 2a of the side end parts and pulled out. Tensile strength of the weft 3 of the tire fabric 1 is made larger than force for pulling out the weft 3 in the width direction of the tire fabric.
