PURPOSE:To provide a ventilation device which can be attached easily and surely to an opening of a wall of a home or an office without spoiling the beauty of the interior of room. CONSTITUTION:The arrangement is such that there are provided a fixed frame 4 disposed on the outdoor side 3 of an opening 2 of a room wall 1 and having a female thread 5 on the inner periphery, a cylindrical hood frame 7 having male thread 6 in threaded engagement with the female thread 5 on the outer periphery, the forward end thereof being in threaded engagement with the frame 4 so as to be located inside the wall 1, said frame 7 having an outdoor hood 8 on its rear end, a cylindrical sleeve 10 inserted into the opening 2 from the inner side 9 of room and disposed with its rear end being fitted in the inner periphery of the forward portion of the frame 7, said sleeve 10 having in its forward end a flange 11 having outer diameter larger than the inner diameter of the opening 2, and a ventilation fan 15 inserted into the sleeve 10 from the inner side 9 of room, wherein the connection of power source cord 18 and wire 14 of the fan 15 is located so as not to be exposed on the inner side 9 of room by being obstructed by the fan 15 and the connection of the cord and wire is made on the side 9. |
