PURPOSE:To install a shutter for a register easily to a duct short pipe, an upper end section of which is fixed onto the underside of an air-conditioning duct, in the mounting technique of the register of a outlet port and an intake port in air-conditioning duct construction. CONSTITUTION:Slits 10 for engaging and inserting are formed to the lower periphery of a duct short pipe 5, an upper end section of which is fixed to the underside of an air-conditioning duct 3, by a tool by using fittings 15 for mounting, in which projecting sections are formed to the upper sections of the leg pieces of T-shaped metal plates integrally having top pieces and the leg pieces, the fittings 15 for mounting are fastened by engaging and inserting the leg pieces into the slits 10, the leg pieces of the fittings 15 for the mounting are interlinked and inserted into the slits 10 for mounting shaped to a shutter 9 for a register, and the fittings 15 are latched to the shutter 9 by bending the leg pieces. |
