PURPOSE:To enable a cut sheet to be charged easily irrespective of existence of curvature etc., by projecting forming guide members for guiding the front edge of a sheet toward the inside of a separation click when cut sheets are fed in an open/close cover. CONSTITUTION:Guide members 28 are projectingly formed on both sides of the inner face of an open/close cover 4 and closely behind a separation click 16. Accordingly, in the case of charging cut sheets 19, they can be easily and securely fed to the preset position inside the separation click 16, particularly even though their rims are deformed such as upward curvature etc. In addition, the second guide members 29 are projectingly formed closely behind a paper feed roll 5 so as to prevent any faulty event such as collision of the front edge ofa cut sheet with the paper feed roll 5 or mis-insertion of sheet through the opposite side of the paper feed roll 5. Thus, charging of cut sheets can be easily carried out regardless of presence of deformation of cut sheets such as curvature etc. |
